HSPVA Friends celebrates Brookfield Properties, which has partnered with Kinder HSPVA for nearly twenty years by underwriting performance and exhibition opportunities for students. In preparation for the school’s move downtown in 2019, Brookfield Properties expanded its support in both Allen Center and Houston Center to connect Kinder HSPVA students to the downtown community.
Visual Arts
The soaring lobbies and downtown views of Allen Center and Houston Center have made amazing venues for the annual Print Show, a juried gallery show and auction of student work.
Creative Writing
In 2019, Brookfield Properties helped us launch the XOXO Studio. The pop-up poetry shop provides complimentary one-of-a-kind valentines for Brookfield tenants, composed by Kinder HSPVA Creative Writing students.
Music
Kinder HSPVA’s award-winning vocal and instrumental music students have enjoyed sharing their talents as tenant entertainment for holidays and special occasions.
