The Kinder HSPVA Theatre Department prepares students to become well-rounded theatre artists through training in acting, musical theatre, playwriting, directing, design, and production. This year, students brought that training to life through productions including Jane Eyre and Jesus Christ Superstar, lower-level showcases, senior recitals, and Yours Truly, an original devised musical created from student-written scenes, poems, and songs in collaboration with Broadway performer and HSPVA alumnus Fernell Hogan (Theatre ’15).
These experiences are possible because of your gifts to HSPVA Friends. You fund the adjunct faculty, accompanists, guest artists, and production support including scenery, costumes, lighting, sound, projections, and show rights that keep Kinder HSPVA performers, designers, and technicians at the top of their field.
