What is The PVA Show?
“The PVA Show” is a brand new event for 2021! It combines two traditional HSPVA Friends fundraising events: the annual Theatre Guild Gala and the annual Print Show.
How can I participate?
- Shop the Auction! The PVA Show offers anyone a chance to bid online for student art work and prize packages, from Monday, May 10 – Sunday, May 16.
- Watch the Show! On the evening of Saturday, May 15, The PVA Show will air a livestreamed video variety show free and open to the public! The event will include a game-show style face-off between the Theatre and Visual Arts faculties, student features, and appearances by special guests!
How is The PVA Show different from the in-person Print Show or Theatre Guild Gala?
- While we cannot safely gather together this year, the livestream’s landing page allows donors to post photos and messages, including shout-outs to favorite faculty and students.
- There are no tickets required, so you can choose to give to Team Theatre or Team Visual Arts to support those departments.
- In the online auction, we have some original student pieces available, in addition to some amazing prints!
What will I see in The PVA Show livestream on Saturday, May 15th?
Students, alumni, and faculty are all making appearances! In addition to the faculty games, you’ll get to see student artists discuss their work, student performances in extra-curricular programs, and special messages from faculty, alumni, and other Kinder HSPVA VIPs.
