Paul Cornish (Instrumental ’14) is the latest Make Jazz Fellow at the 18th Street Arts Center in Santa Monica, CA, and as part of their “Arts Learning Lab @ Home” series, he’ll lead a workshop called “Your Musical Family Tree.” Participants sketch their own family tree towards inspiration for making their own music. The first two times I had heard it; I had thought it was the strangest music ever (especially the track that remains one of his weirdest: African Night Flight).
